Check out this array of new band publications from Magnolia Music Publishing, a Tennessee based publisher of music for bands at all levels. One rather unique aspect to this new catalog is that several selections are published at more than one difficulty level.  The recordings available are MIDI based recordings intended to provide you with a representative sound of the actual arrangement.

  This easy march begins with a fanfare in the trumpets and doubled in clarinets. The driving beat is carried by the percussion and low brass sections. An ideal march for any concert or contest. $29.95

• Forward March, Easy, Bob Turner
  The modal melody of this march provides a truly unique level of musical interest. Six individual percussion lines make for some playable yet interesting work for the percussion section. They are also featured in one section. $29.95

  This easy march begins with a fanfare in the trumpets and doubled in clarinets. Bob has added syncopation and two-beat triplets in this version. Simple yet very well-written march. $29.95

  A "Sousa-style" march features dotted-eight notes and syncopation. The low brass section get a chance to shine even carrying the melody at one point. $49.95

• Taking Flight, Medium-Easy, Bob Turner
  A fanfare and march featuring all sections of the band. The middle section features three part counterpoint for some variety. Will work well on any concert or festival program. $39.95

  This arrangement is based on the Christmas Carol "Good King Wenceslas" and features the percussion section playing a rock style beat utilizing snare drum, bass drum, closed hi-hat and sleigh bells.   Its modal melody and extensive use of percussion make this an ideal concert work for beginning bands. $29.95

• Mysteriously Mysterious, Easy, Bob Turner
  Ominous, foreboding and mysterious all describe this original work. There is one tempo change in the middle which is twice as fast as the beginning tempo. $29.95

• Dance of the Seven Veils, Medium, Bob Turner
  When Bob Turner created the level one arrangement of this work he was so struck that he decided to expand the work and re-orchestrate it for more advanced bands. This is the result! Six percussionists will be kept very busy throughout. Pitched percussion includes xylophone, vibes and chimes with the xylophone getting a real workout. Solo sections include piccolo, oboe, english horn (cued in the Alto Sax), bassoon (cued in the Baritone Sax) and tuba.It will provide a welcome addition to any concert. $59.95
