HIT THE ROAD JACK - by Percy Mayfield/ Arr. Paul Murtha. A tribute to Ray Charles would not be complete without this well - known classic tune. The opening trumpet solo with plunger is very effective, but totally optional depending on your situation. I CAN'T STOP LOVING YOU - by Don Gibson/ Arr. Paul Murtha. Paul brings us a swingin' big band style treatment of this tune made famous by Ray Charles.
